Aguilas has a wide and varied range of accommodation to suit all packets, from three and two star hotels to hostels, apartments and camping sites, all of which remain open throughout the year.
Aguilas is an area of contrats. Its coastline of rocky cliffs and headlands is interspersed with quiet beaches of fine sand and clear blue water. Surrounded by mountains, the sea always in view, its countryside is very varied.
To the south it appears semi-desert with ochre-toned rocks full of marine fossils and volcanic minerals; this area is known as el paisaje protegido de Cuatro Calas the protected countryside of the four coves. A few kilometres inland, at Chuecos, the scenery changes to that of the luxurious dark green pine woods and aromatic scrubland.
The Association of Hostelry of Aguilas recommends you the gastronomy of our town, based on the richness, variety and quality of the courses, as well as the extense range of them.
With typical courses cooked with autochthonous meats, fishes and vegetables, and delicious sweet courses; to culminate in our most pagan festival, the Carnival, with the typical drink La Cuerva, elaborated by the best skilled Cuerveros.
